Give Local Tucson, selects Healing Arizona Veterans charity of the month for November 2018

This month’s Give Local Tucson partner is “Healing Arizona Veterans”. They’re treating veterans suffering from TBI and PTSD conditions utilizing hyperbaric oxygen therapy and supplemental therapies at two privately owned and operated, six-person HBOT chamber locations, one in Tucson ( NorthStar Hyperbaric ) and another in Cave Creek ( HBOT of Arizona ). These two large-capacity chambers can treat close to 300 patients annually. Read more

The costs to fully treat a veteran are approximately $12,000, based on 80 sessions at $150 per session.

Business and charitable donations are required for these treatments.  AZ house bill 2513 allocates 25 thousand dollars, one-time as seed money, to make this effort a reality, but business and charitable donations are needed for veterans to continue to have this service available.
